Terms and Conditions
By enrolling as a student or as a parent/guardian of a student at Stray Dog Art House, you accept these terms and conditions.
1 INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions apply to all of Stray Dog Art House, Courses, Workshops/Camps, Workshops and any additional products and/or services offered by Stray Dog Art House.
2 Cancellation
Stray Dog Art House reserves the right to cancel workshops or camps
should the minimum number of students not be met by the date of the first class. All payments will be returned to the student in this case.
Stray Dog Art House also reserves the right to cancel a class once a course has commenced due to inclement weather or other emergency situations. In the event of a last-minute session cancellation, you will be notified by email, text message or a call to your mobile phone via the contact details on file with as much notice as possible. A make up class will be scheduled when possible.
3 PAYMENTS
Payments for workshops and camps require full payment prior to the commencement of the first class. Pre booking is often required with a deposit fee. In the case of an emergency by the applicant prior to the first day of class a refund may be provided. Contact info@straydogarthouse.com for further details.
4 HEALTH AND INJURIES
Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Stray Dog Art House and its staff of any existing injuries or medical conditions. Students must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times. If a student is unwell or has an accident requiring emergency treatment, the emergency contact will be contacted via the emergency contact details provided on the enrolment form. This number must always be contactable whilst the Student is attending.
Students/parents/guardians are solely responsible for ensuring that the emergency contact details are up to date.
5 USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The personal data of a Student and/or Parent will be used only by Stray Dog Art House for administrative purposes. Any public use of personal information of a student or parent will require an agreement by both parties prior to its usage.
6 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Stray Dog Art House owns all the rights, title and interest in and to its websites, including software, text, and media and its trademarks, logos and brand elements. Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects or licenses the ownership of these rights. Any intellectual property created during any Course, Workshop, or Workshop/Camp is owned by Stray Dog Art House.
9 PERSONAL PROPERTY
Students are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Stray Dog Art House can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
10 GENERAL
Stray Dog Art House may, at its own discretion, refuse a Student entry to any activities or sessions if it is felt that the Student's behaviour is unacceptable.
In the event that a student is unable to attend a session, due to a non emergency situation such as holiday, or a decision by the Parent or Student not to attend, Stray Dog Art House regrets that it is unable to refund any payment.
All Students must be collected on time after a session. Stray Dog Art House is unable to supervise Students after a session unless arrangements have been agreed upon by Stray Dog Art House
prior and consistent late collection may result in additional charges.
You acknowledge that the maximum aggregate liability of The Academy to a Student or Parent under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the activity fee to which a claim relates.
